METSO D201435L

Series: Neles Series 2000 / ND9000 family compatible
Function / Working Principle:
Receives a 4–20 mA DC analog setpoint signal from DCS/PLC and compares it with the actual valve stem position feedback (via internal cam/lever). A digital PWM-controlled piezo or nozzle-flapper pilot stage modulates supply air to the actuator, driving the valve to the commanded position in closed-loop control. Supports auto-calibration and adaptive gain tuning.

METSO D201466

Product Type: Internal electronics unit / motherboard for smart valve positioner
Description:
This is the core processor board used inside Neles ND9000 or compatible Series 2000 smart positioners. It houses the microprocessor, A/D-D/A converters, HART modem, and piezoelectric pilot driver circuitry. It receives 4–20 mA + HART from the control system and drives the pneumatic section of the positioner. Can also be supplied as a spare/replacement PCB for field refurbishment.

Product Name: Metso Neles Smart Valve Positioner Electronic Module, D201471
Product Type: Intelligent positioner controller / internal module or complete unit
Specifications:
  • Input: 4–20 mA + HART (optionally Profibus PA / FF per full assembly)

METSO D201472

Product Name: Metso DNA Distributed Control System — Analog Output Module, 8-channel (D201472)
Product Type: Process I/O module for Metso DNA / third-party DCS racks
Function / Working Principle:
Converts digital process values from the control engine into proportional analog signals (4–20 mA or 0–10 V DC) to drive field devices such as valve positioners, variable frequency drives (VFDs), or indicating meters. Each channel is galvanically isolated.

METSO D201483

Product Name: Metso Neles Smart Valve Positioner Module, D201483
Product Type: Advanced pneumatic valve positioner with HART
Technical Specifications:
  • Input Signal: 4–20 mA DC + HART protocol

METSO D201832

Working Principle (D201832 Positioner):
The positioner receives a 4–20 mA DC setpoint from the DCS/PLC and continuously compares it with real-time valve stem position sensed by a non-contact Hall-effect or potentiometric feedback linkage. A digital piezo pilot stage modulates supply air to the actuator in closed-loop control, driving the valve to the commanded position. Auto-calibration establishes the zero, span, and deadband; adaptive gain tuning compensates for actuator friction and seat load variation. HART 7 protocol is superimposed on the 4–20 mA loop for configuration, diagnostics, and partial-stroke testing.

METSO D201925

Function / Working Principle:
Each of the 32 (or 16, depending on rack firmware revision) input channels accepts a 24 V DC wet contact or solid-state sensor signal from field devices — limit switches, proximity sensors, motor run status, ESD pushbutton contacts, etc. Optical isolation decouples field-side voltage transients from the system backplane. The module samples inputs at a configurable scan rate, applies software debounce filtering, and presents the binary state to the control engine for logic, interlocking, and alarm evaluation. LED indicators show per-channel ON/OFF status and module health. The module is hot-swappable in a live DNA rack.

Metso PDP401

Product Introduction:
The Metso PDP401 is a microprocessor-based industrial automation device used either as a smart valve positioner for pneumatic control valves in process plants, or as a compact Distributed Processing Unit (DPU) in Metso DNA / Valmet DNA distributed control systems. It converts a 4–20 mA analog control signal into a precise pneumatic output to position the valve, or performs real-time I/O scanning, logic, and communication in a DCS node.
