Working Principle:
Receives motion commands over Ethernet or runs standalone programs stored in flash. Closed-loop position/velocity/torque control executed internally at high update rates. Brake engages automatically on loss of 24 VDC brake supply or on commanded disable.

Mount with rigid coupling to avoid side loads on bearings. Brake must be supplied from a separate 24 VDC regulated source fused ≤1 A. Ensure proper network segmentation if using CIP Motion. Programming via Moog Animatics SmartMotor Interface (SMI) software.
