  • Working Principle:​ Each input is optically isolated and periodically tested by the module’s watchdog. The processed binary state is transmitted to the Central Unit via the safety backplane bus. Wire-break and short-to-ground are detectable via threshold monitoring.
  • Installation & Notes:​ Use shielded cable for long runs. Do not exceed max. capacitance on NAMUR inputs. Commission by forcing each input and verifying logic response. Hot-swappable in redundant configuration.
