Working Principle

  3. Thermocouple signal input channel activates built-in CJC cold junction compensation chip to eliminate cold end temperature measurement error
  4. Precision signal conditioning circuit filter industrial frequency interference and amplify weak sensor signals
  5. 16-bit A/D converter converts analog measurement signals into digital data
  6. On-board communication chip transmits digital measurement data to CENTUM main controller via ESB internal system bus
  7. Real-time self-diagnosis circuit detect channel open circuit, short circuit and over-range signal faults, trigger front panel channel alarm indicator

Installation Requirements

  1. Insert into dedicated analog input slot of Yokogawa CENTUM CS3000 / VP backplane, lock side buckle tightly
  2. Matched TB37G or TB38G terminal base must be installed below module for field signal wiring
  3. Field sensor wiring uses shielded twisted pair cable, shielding layer single-point grounding inside DCS cabinet
  4. Reserve ≥10 mm heat dissipation gap between adjacent modules to ensure air circulation
  5. For intrinsically safe explosion-proof area application, matched isolation safety barrier must be installed on front end of signal wiring
  6. Ambient cabinet temperature must be controlled within -20°C ~ +70°C operating range, install cooling fan for high-temperature workshop

Usage Precautions

  1. Do not input over-range voltage/current signal into channel, will damage internal signal conditioning circuit
  2. Thermocouple wiring must use dedicated temperature compensation cable, ordinary copper wire causes large measurement error
  3. Strictly prohibit reverse connection of 24 V DC backplane power supply terminal, permanent damage to module power circuit
  4. Do not disassemble plastic shell without authorization, internal isolation circuit structure will be destroyed
  5. Regularly clean terminal base dust every 6 months to prevent poor wiring contact
  6. When single channel alarm occurs, first check field sensor wiring continuity before replacing module
