Working Principle The module serves as a protocol conversion bridge between the drive inverter and the PROFINET network. It receives control commands, speed references and parameter settings from the master controller via PROFINET, and transmits them to the drive control board through the internal backplane bus. At the same time, it collects drive operation status, actual speed, current and fault information from the inverter and uploads them to the master controller, realizing bidirectional real-time communication.

Installation Requirements

  • Install the module into the dedicated option slot of the drive inverter with power disconnected
  • Ensure the module is firmly inserted and the fixing screws are tightened
  • Use standard industrial Ethernet cables for PROFINET connection
  • Shielded Ethernet cables are recommended for environments with strong electromagnetic interference
  • Follow the bus topology requirements and correctly set the terminal resistor

Usage Precautions

  • Do not hot-plug the module when the drive is powered on
  • Ensure the drive firmware version is compatible with the DFE32B module
  • Do not pull or bend the Ethernet cable excessively to avoid interface damage
