Performance Parameters
  • 4000 min⁻¹ nominal speed supports high-throughput cycling with low-inertia loads
  • 2.7 Nm continuous standstill torque covers steady feeding, clamping and light milling axes
  • 6.3 A continuous current class matches MDD-compatible digital amplifiers
  • 3.0 Nm brake holding torque exceeds motor continuous torque for safe load retention
  • Digital feedback and multiturn evaluation maintain accurate position after power interruptions
Material And Construction
  • Permanent magnet rotor with low-inertia laminated construction
  • Standard steel flange housing with black protective coating
  • Keyed output shaft in hardened steel with radial shaft seal
  • Integrated electromagnetic spring-applied holding brake
  • Connector housing on side B with shielded feedback and power contacts
  • Sealed bearing system and IP65 exterior components for industrial environments
Working Principle
The permanent magnet rotor creates a fixed magnetic field. The digital drive supplies three-phase current to the stator windings according to the commanded speed and torque profile. Digital servo feedback measures rotor angle and revolution count, then returns position data to the controller for closed-loop correction. During enable, the holding brake releases; when disabled or faulted, the spring-applied brake engages and retains the load with 3.0 Nm holding torque. Heat generated in the windings is dissipated by natural convection through the housing surface.
Installation Requirements
  • Mount using the standard flange and 95 mm centering diameter with rigid machine alignment
  • Align the keyed shaft with the coupling bore and avoid axial preload on the shaft seal
  • Use designated MDD power and feedback connectors on side B with proper strain relief
  • Connect the holding brake to a regulated 24 VDC ±10% supply through the drive brake control output
  • Ground the motor frame and cable shields according to the drive controller documentation
  • Provide adequate cabinet airflow even though the motor is self-cooled
Usage Precautions
  • Operate only within 0°C to 45°C ambient and respect the motor thermal time constant during duty cycling
  • Verify drive parameters, feedback type and brake voltage before first energization
  • Do not disassemble the rotor or feedback assembly in the field
  • Inspect shaft seal and connector seals regularly in coolant, oil or high-dust environments
  • Confirm brake release status before moving vertical loads to prevent unexpected dropping
  • Use correctly sized cables and protection settings based on 6.3 A continuous current and peak duty
