Working Principle

Plugged into the PCI bus slot of an industrial computer, it receives motion control commands from the host software. The dedicated motion control chip independently completes pulse generation, acceleration/deceleration planning and interpolation calculation, and outputs pulse and direction signals to drive stepping motors or servo drives. At the same time, it collects external feedback signals through counters to realize closed-loop control and status monitoring.

Installation Requirements

Insert into the computer PCI slot in power-off state and fix with screws.

Match the pin definition when connecting motor driver cables to avoid reverse connection.

Install the corresponding driver and control software and confirm the system recognizes the card.

The operating environment shall meet PCI equipment temperature requirements to avoid excessive temperature inside the chassis.

Usage Notes

Do not plug or unplug the card with power on.

The output pulse frequency and current shall match the driver specifications.

Shield external wiring to reduce electromagnetic interference.

Check regularly for oxidation on the card gold fingers and keep the inside of the chassis clean and dry.
