Working Principle

The module receives output command signals from the PLC CPU via the backplane bus. Internal MOSFET switching devices control the 24 V DC output to connected field loads. Each output channel includes protection circuits that monitor current and temperature; if an overcurrent or short-circuit condition is detected, the corresponding channel bank shuts down automatically and triggers a fault flag. The module also provides status feedback data to the CPU for system diagnostics.

Installation Requirements

• Mount on standard 35 mm DIN rail or dedicated panel mounting brackets
• Ensure proper backplane connector alignment when inserting into the PLC rack
• Use appropriately sized copper conductors for output wiring
• Connect external surge suppression devices for inductive loads
