Working Principle

Channel isolation barriers block cross-channel noise and ground potential differences between field instruments and DCS backplane.

Installation Requirements

  3. Field analog wiring must use shielded twisted-pair cable, shield grounded only at IOTA terminal earth lug
  4. Maintain minimum 10 mm horizontal gap between adjacent IOTA units for heat dissipation
  5. Earth terminal of CC-TAIX01 must connect to cabinet protective earth bus bar

Usage Precautions

  1. Do not apply voltage exceeding 30 VDC transient to any field input terminal
  2. Avoid routing high-current power cables parallel to analog wiring connected to CC-TAIX01 terminals
  3. Do not over-tighten terminal screws beyond 0.8 N·m torque rating to prevent plastic terminal block cracking
