Working Principle

The redundant IOTA base accepts two identical analog input I/O modules. Field signals are routed in parallel to both modules, which independently perform signal conditioning and A/D conversion. The C300 controller receives data from both modules and selects the valid signal, providing seamless failover if one module experiences a fault.
