  • Built-in incremental encoder (1,000 P/R) for position feedback
  • Built-in tachogenerator for speed feedback
  • Brush-type commutation (requires periodic brush replacement)
  • Compatible with Fanuc 6/10/11/15/16/18/21 series servo amplifiers (A06B-6050 to A06B-6090 series)
  • Compact design for axis drive applications

Performance Parameters:

  • Acceleration Torque: 21.6 Nm (peak, 0.5s)
  • Moment of Inertia: 0.045 kg·m²
  • Thermal Time Constant: 30 minutes
  • Operating Temp: 0°C to +40°C
  • Storage Temp: -20°C to +60°C
  • Humidity: 20%–80% RH (no condensation)

Structural Features:

  • Cast iron housing with aluminum end caps
  • 40mm shaft with keyway (8 × 7 × 35mm)
  • 20-pin connector (power + encoder + tachometer)
  • IP54 with connector cap
  • Foot mounting: 4×M8 holes

Working Principle:
Brush-type DC motor. The servo amplifier supplies DC current to the armature windings via carbon brushes and commutator. The built-in tachogenerator provides analog speed feedback. The built-in incremental encoder provides digital position feedback. The amplifier performs 3-loop control (current, speed, position) at 2 kHz sampling rate.

Advantages:

  • Lower cost than brushless Alpha series
  • Built-in encoder and tachometer — no separate components needed
  • Proven design with decades of field service
  • Direct compatibility with legacy Fanuc controls

Applicable Industries:

  • Retrofit CNC machines (Fanuc 0/6/10/11/15/16/18/21)
  • CNC lathes (older models)
  • CNC milling machines (older models)
  • EDM machines
  • Wire-cut EDM

Installation Requirements:

  • Mount with 4×M8 bolts, torque 15 Nm
  • Align coupling within 0.05mm TIR
  • Use Fanuc-specified motor cable (max 30m recommended)
  • Set motor model number in CNC parameters (parameter 1815)
  • Verify encoder signal polarity before operation

Usage Precautions:

  • Brushes require replacement every 2,000–4,000 hours
  • Do not run motor without tachometer connected — amplifier will fault
  • Keep commutator clean — use contact cleaner during maintenance
  • Do not exceed 3,000 rpm continuous
  • Store in dry environment to prevent brush sticking
