  • Factory automation equipment power supply

Working Principle

The power supply adopts a flyback switching topology. Input AC voltage is first rectified and filtered into high-voltage DC, then chopped into high-frequency AC by a switching transistor controlled by a PWM controller. The high-frequency transformer steps down the voltage and provides electrical isolation. The output is then rectified, filtered, and regulated to provide stable 24 V DC output. The control loop continuously adjusts PWM duty cycle to maintain stable output voltage under varying input and load conditions.

Installation Requirements

  • Mount on standard 35 mm DIN rail (TS35/7.5 or TS35/15)
  • Ensure proper airflow around the unit for convection cooling
  • Install with input terminals at the bottom and output terminals at the top for natural convection
  • Use copper conductors with appropriate cross-section for input and output wiring
  • Connect protective earth terminal securely
  • Maintain minimum clearance from adjacent components for heat dissipation

Usage Notes

  • Do not operate the unit beyond its rated output current for extended periods
  • Output voltage adjustment should be performed with a calibrated voltmeter
  • Inductive loads should be equipped with appropriate surge suppression
  • Disconnect input power before performing wiring or maintenance
  • Regularly clean dust from the unit’s ventilation openings to maintain cooling performance
  • The unit must be derated according to ambient temperature per manufacturer specifications
