Material Composition

  • Front housing: flame-retardant PA66 engineering plastic
  • Circuit board: FR-4 grade industrial PCB
  • Optical coupler: high-speed optocoupler devices
  • Terminal block: spring-loaded or screw-type connection terminals

Structural Features

  • Modular design, installed on the PLC backplane bus
  • Front-facing terminal wiring for easy maintenance
  • Compact module width to save rack installation space
  • Color-coded terminal area for easy channel identification

Working Principle The module converts the field 24V DC switch signal into a logic-level signal through the input conditioning circuit and optocoupler isolation, and transmits the signal state to the PLC CPU through the backplane bus. The input filter circuit eliminates jitter and interference pulses, ensuring accurate and reliable signal acquisition. The optical isolation structure prevents field high-voltage or interference from damaging the PLC internal circuit.

Installation Requirements

  • Insert the module into the corresponding slot of the backplane rack correctly
  • Tighten the fixing screws to ensure reliable backplane connection
  • Use 0.5mm² to 1.5mm² cross-section cables for field wiring
  • Shielded cables are recommended for long-distance signal transmission
  • The common terminal must be correctly connected according to the sink/source wiring mode

Usage Precautions

  • Do not connect AC voltage to the input terminals to avoid module damage
  • Ensure the input voltage does not exceed the maximum allowable range
  • Do not pull out the module with power on when hot swap is not enabled
  • Regularly check the tightness of wiring terminals
  • When a channel fails, first check the field sensor and wiring before replacing the module
