  • Output switching time: less than 100µs
  • Isolation withstand voltage: 1500V AC
  • Operating temperature range: -40°C to +70°C
  • Protection class: IP20

Material Composition

  • Housing: high and low temperature resistant engineering plastic
  • Circuit board: industrial-grade PCB with conformal coating
  • Output devices: MOSFET power transistors
  • Connectors: pluggable terminal blocks

Structural Features

  • Rack-mounted modular structure, installed on Bachmann backplane
  • Front-facing pluggable terminals for quick wiring and replacement
  • LED indicators for each channel to show input/output status
  • Compact design suitable for high-density I/O configuration

Working Principle For input channels, field switch signals are isolated and conditioned by optocouplers and then transmitted to the internal bus. For output channels, the control logic signals are amplified by the drive circuit and control the on-off of the output transistor to drive external loads. The module communicates with the system CPU through the backplane bus to realize data exchange and control instruction transmission.

Installation Requirements

  • Install the module into the Bachmann system rack slot correctly
  • Ensure the backplane connector is in good contact before fixing
  • Use cables with appropriate cross-section according to output current
  • Inductive loads must be connected with freewheeling diodes to protect output devices
  • The module must be reliably grounded to ensure EMC performance

Usage Precautions

  • Do not exceed the rated current per channel and total group current
  • Do not connect AC power supply to the output terminals
  • Ensure the power supply polarity is correct to avoid module damage
  • Regularly check the load wiring for short circuits
  • Module replacement must be performed with power off
