Working Principle

The module receives DC power from the HMV or HMU power supply unit through the DC bus. Internal IGBT power devices convert the DC input into three-phase AC power with adjustable frequency and voltage to drive the servo motor. The upper control unit sends motion commands via the backplane bus, and the module executes power amplification and output control. It monitors output current, bus voltage and internal temperature in real time, and triggers immediate protection shutdown when any parameter exceeds the threshold. The built-in cooling fan removes heat generated by power components to ensure stable continuous operation under heavy load.

Installation Requirements

  • DIN 35 rail mounting inside the control cabinet
  • Maintain at least 10 mm of ventilation space on both sides of the module
  • Maximum motor cable length: 15 meters
  • Vertical installation is recommended for optimal heat dissipation performance
  • The control cabinet must meet IP20 protection requirements
