Working Principle:​ Conditions the AC + DC component from eddy-current probes; separates dynamic vibration (AC) and static position (DC) if required by configuration; scales to user-defined measurement range; drives isolated 4–20 mA loops. Continuously monitors sensor integrity; on fault drives “OK” relay and forces 0 mA (or preset) on analog outputs.
Sensor Input:2 × independent eddy-current probe channels​ (compatible with EPRO PR 642x probes + PR 935x or built-in preamp depending on cable length)
Outputs:
  • 2 × 0/4–20 mA DC, isolated, proportional to shaft vibration amplitude or position (selectable)
  • Optional: one output proportional to max(S1, S2) of the two channels
  • 1 × logic “OK” (Channel Healthy)​ — solid-state or relay contact, changes state on sensor/module fault; 4–20 mA then goes to 0 mA or < 3.6 mA (NAMUR NE43)
    Alarm Contacts:​ Typically 2–5 configurable solid-state/relay outputs depending on exact variant (Alert / Danger per channel or combined)

    Usage Notes:​ After installation verify “OK” LED is lit green; if extinguished check probe continuity and gap voltage; on sensor failure the 4–20 mA output drops below 3.6 mA to signal fault per NAMUR — receiving system must be configured to recognize this as sensor error, not zero reading.
