Compact Intrinsic Safety Module Termination Unit
It is a compact and passive module termination unit designed for S800 I/O systems, and it is optimized for intrinsic safety applications with up to 8 I/O channels. It is a module terminal unit with an intrinsic safety interface, featuring 3x9 signal terminals and including a wiring separator. As a passive unit, it is used to connect field wiring and power supplies to I/O modules and also contains part of the ModuleBus. It can distribute the ModuleBus to I/O modules and the next MTU, and generate the correct address of the I/O module by moving the outgoing position signal to the next MTU.
