Working Principle

The drive converts AC power to controllable DC power through a three-phase thyristor rectifier bridge. The built-in microprocessor performs PID calculation based on the deviation between setpoint and feedback signals, controls the thyristor firing angle to regulate motor armature voltage and current. The 4-quadrant topology switches the motor between motoring and generating states via two anti-parallel rectifier bridges.
