    Working Principle:

    The module converts the incoming 24 VDC safe-area power to high-frequency AC using a switching regulator, which is then passed through a galvanic isolation transformer to separate the hazardous and safe sides. The isolated AC is rectified and filtered back to regulated 12 VDC for the intrinsically safe field circuit. Internal protection circuits monitor output current and voltage, automatically limiting power to safe levels and shutting down in fault conditions to prevent ignition-capable energy from reaching the hazardous area.

    Installation Requirements:

  • Install on standard 35 mm DIN rail in a safe-area control cabinet
  • Ensure adequate vertical clearance above and below the module for natural convection cooling
