    Working Principle:

    The module implements intrinsic safety protection by limiting electrical energy (voltage, current, and power) to levels that cannot ignite explosive atmospheres. Field input signals pass through a galvanic isolation barrier that separates the hazardous-area side from the safe-area control side. The module processes discrete input states, performs line fault diagnostics, and transmits status data to the host controller via the fieldbus interface.
