Working Principle: The sensor emits ultrasonic pulse signals towards the medium surface. Pulses reflect back after hitting medium surface and are received by the sensor. The device calculates distance between sensor diaphragm and medium surface by measuring flight time of ultrasonic wave combined with sound velocity. Built‑in temperature sensor compensates sound velocity deviation caused by temperature variation. The empty distance parameter set by user subtracts measured distance to output real‑time level value. Interference echo suppression masks invalid reflection signals from tank internal structures to guarantee measuring reliability.

Installation Requirements: Mount on tank top via G1½ threaded connection. Do not install at absolute center of tank top, keep distance of 1/6 tank diameter away from tank wall. Avoid installation directly above filling stream. Use sun‑rain protective cover for outdoor installation. Ensure no obstacles within ultrasonic beam angle. Install with counter nut, mounting sleeve or installation bracket as accessory options. Keep blocking distance zone free of medium surface to avoid measurement failure. Wiring shall comply with two‑wire instrument standard, separate from high‑power cable routing. Ground the housing according to local electrical specifications.

Usage Notes: Do not apply in high‑foam medium surface environment, foam will absorb ultrasonic pulse and cause measuring failure. Avoid heavy vapor or condensation directly on sensor diaphragm. Verify blocking distance parameter before commissioning, medium surface cannot enter blocking distance. Execute interference echo suppression after field installation. Do not use in medium with strong ultrasonic‑absorbing property. Regularly inspect sensor diaphragm for contamination accumulation. Strictly follow permitted process temperature and pressure range.
