Working Principle

When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic force pulls the armature closed, driving the moving contacts to connect with the fixed contacts, completing the main power circuit. When the coil is de-energized, the return spring pushes the armature open, separating the contacts and interrupting the power circuit. The contactor realizes on-off control of high-power loads through low-power coil control signals.
