Working Principle:
DC bus from rectified 480 V feeds IGBT bridge; current sensors close 16 kHz PWM loop; resolver demodulates rotor angle; outer loop accepts analog command or SERCOS motion telegram.
Applications: Indexing tables, labelers, spindle servos, robotics prototype axes.
Installation & Wiring:
Mount vertical in cabinet with 50 mm top/bottom clearance, motor cable <50 m shielded, 480 V supply via contactor with 10× In fuse, resolver cable separate from power tray.
Precautions:
Never enable before auto-commutation tune; 480 V DC bus >700 V can destroy IGBTs if regen not clamped; convection version must not be fan-blocked.
