Emerson PR6423/003-030 + CON021

Product Introduction:

Same measurement principle as Item 9 above, but the probe suffix /003-030designates a 3 m or 5 m integral cable length (typically 5 m on -030 variants) between probe head and connector. This kit is selected when longer cable runs are needed between the probe location (inside bearing housing area) and the terminal box / preamp cabinet.

Description

Key Differences vs PR6423/000-111:

Cable Length: ~5 m (vs. standard 1 m on some -000 variants); allows direct connection to remote CON021 without extension cable
All other electrical specs (8 mm dia., 2 mm linear range, 8 V/mm ISF, -35…+180 °C, stainless steel / PEEK) are identical to the PR6423 family

CON021 Specs: Identical to Item 9 — -24 V DC supply, -4…-20 V DC output, DIN rail mount.

Functional Features & Applications:

Identical to Item 9 — turbine/generator shaft vibration & position monitoring; the longer integral cable reduces need for in-line couplers in confined spaces.

Installation Notes:

Route probe cable carefully through conduit/bushing; avoid crushing or kinking the PTFE jacket
Do not cut or splice the probe cable — this invalidates calibration
Verify total system (probe + CON021) zero and span during commissioning using feeler gauge method
