Product Brief:​ Hot-swappable expansion module that adds four independent 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet fiber ports via SFP slots to a Hirschmann MS20 or MS30 chassis. SFP transceivers (not included) are user-installable for multimode or singlemode fiber as required.

Usage Notes:​ This module contains NO fixed optical transceivers — SFP must be ordered separately and must be 100 Mbps type (not 1GE); mismatched wavelength between link ends will prevent link establishment despite LED activity; do not mix SFP brands in redundant ring without verifying DDM compatibility; ring redundancy recovery time < 50 ms with MRP enabled on host switch.
