Working Principle
Executes cyclical user logic program stored in non-volatile flash memory at fixed scan intervals. Scans all digital and analog input terminal signals at start of each scan cycle, stores input state images to internal memory. Processes user control logic to calculate target output states, writes output values to physical terminals at scan cycle completion. Modbus RTU RS485 port exchanges process data with remote HMI, variable frequency drives, and sensor transducers via register-based communication protocol. Internal voltage and temperature monitoring circuits trigger fault alarms upon overvoltage, undervoltage, or overheat conditions.
Advantage Highlights
- All-in-one CPU + I/O base unit eliminates separate CPU and I/O rack hardware for small machine control
- Wide DC control power input range tolerates industrial voltage fluctuation
- Integrated high-speed motion pulse outputs remove requirement for external motion modules
- Multiple standard IEC 61131-3 programming language compatibility
- Low power consumption for battery-backed emergency control systems
Applicable Industries
Food and beverage processing machinery, water treatment skids, material handling conveyors, packaging secondary automation, HVAC industrial unit control, agricultural processing equipment
Installation Requirements
- Secure mounting on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside IP20 minimum rated electrical control cabinet
- Maintain 15 mm minimum side clearance for cross-ventilation between adjacent DIN rail devices
- Connect shielded RS485 Modbus cable with twisted pair wiring and single-point earth grounding
- Install external 24 V DC regulated power supply with minimum 3 A output current rating
- Replace internal RTC backup lithium battery every 5 calendar years to prevent timestamp data loss
Usage Precautions
- Do not route AC power wiring parallel to analog signal wiring inside cabinet to avoid electromagnetic interference
- Disable unused analog input channels via software configuration to reduce signal noise drift
- Avoid deployment in environments with airborne conductive dust or chemical vapor exposure
- Download full program backup to external storage before firmware upgrade operations
- Do not connect analog output terminals to inductive loads without surge suppression diodes
