Working Principle

PMAC motion controller transmits motion command and monitoring data to ACC-72E onboard DPRAM memory via UBUS backplane bus. The gateway main chip reads data from DPRAM and converts motion control variables into standard fieldbus protocol data frames according to installed daughter card protocol logic, then transmits data frames to fieldbus slave devices through external communication ports. Field device feedback status and sensor data is received by daughter card, converted into PMAC readable digital format and written back to DPRAM for real-time controller access and motion logic adjustment.

Installation Requirements

  1. Mount in standard 19-inch VME 3U rack with functional UBUS backplane power and data bus
