The 3500/62-04-00 is a 6-channel process variable monitor from Bently Nevada’s 3500 machinery protection system. It performs continuous monitoring of machine-critical parameters including pressure, flow, temperature and level. It accepts 4–20 mA and ±10 V DC input signals from field transmitters, and is fully configurable via 3500 Rack Configuration Software.

Working Principle

The module receives standard analog signals from field transmitters, performs signal conditioning and A/D conversion, then executes numerical calculation and logic judgment via the built-in microprocessor. It compares measured values against user-configured alarm and trip thresholds, triggers corresponding status outputs, and uploads data to the system communication bus for centralized monitoring.
