Application Scenarios
Multi-axis milling, CT gantry synchronization, high-resolution optical stages, research motion rigs.
Working Principle
Host PMAC2 CPU solves trajectory → ACC8T latches command words → 16-bit DAC updates voltage → servo drive follows analog setpoint → encoder feedback returns to CPU.
Installation Requirements
Mount near PMAC CPU. Use shielded twisted-pair analog cable. Ground shield at one end or both ends depending on cabinet scheme. Keep distance to drive under specified cable limit for noise control.
Usage Notes
Perform DAC offset calibration before first run. Never plug or unplug front cables under power. Avoid ground loops between controller and drive.
