Product Introduction:​ RH916NC is the same mechanical TA platform as RH916DD but with a normally-closed relay logic orientation and alternate keying. It is used where the plant standard calls for NC-form relay confirmation on discrete outputs or where cable exit direction differs in dense cabinets.

  • Channels: 16, mapped to FBM242
  • Relay Form: NC/NO selectable per channel via jumper field on some revisions
  • Field Voltage: Same multi-voltage range as FBM242 (15–60 VDC, 120 VAC, 240 VAC)
  • Isolation: Inherited from FBM242 channel isolation; TA adds 600 VAC creepage spacing
    Material Composition:​ Identical to RH916DD; thermoplastic, brass, stainless.
    Structural Feature:​ Different mechanical key vs DD so an FBM configured for NO logic cannot be forced into an NC-standard TA without deliberate retrofit.
    Working Principle:​ Identical signal path to RH916DD; difference is default relay contact state and wiring legend on the cover sheet.
    Installation Requirement:​ Same DIN/cabinet rules as RH916DD. Confirm NC/NO jumpers before coupling to solenoid valves that fail unsafe on loss of power.
    Usage Note:​ Never assume NC means “safe de-energized”; FBM242 fail-safe config and TA relay form must be reviewed together.
