Working Principle:
The module acts as a PROFIBUS DP Master. It encapsulates PROFIsafe telegrams within standard DP frames. Using watchdog timers, counter signatures, and CRC checks, it ensures data integrity across the black channel. Safety logic in the CPU cross-checks received data against expected sequences to detect latency or manipulation.
