Product Introduction:​
A non-contact displacement/vibration measurement system compliant with API 670. The PR6423/000-111 8-mm diameter probe senses the distance to a ferromagnetic target (typically turbine shaft). The CON021 preamplifier converts the probe signal to a -24 V DC to 0 V DC (or -4 to -20 V) proportional output for the machinery protection system (MPS/TSI rack).

Installation Notes:
  • Probe must be calibrated to the specific target material; verify calibration curve
  • Tighten probe to specified torque using spanner flats; do NOT apply torque to cable
  • Run coaxial shielded cable (supplied/proprietary) without sharp bends; connect shield only at CON021 end to earth
  • Perform “gap check” before final tightening to confirm linear region
