Working Principle:
The CPU (RISC processor) reads the part program from DRAM/SRAM or via Ethernet/USB. It decodes G-code, performs NANURBS or linear/circular interpolation, and sends position commands to αi series servo amplifiers via FSSB (FANUC Serial Servo Bus) — a high-speed fiber optic link. The αi amplifiers drive αi series motors with absolute encoders. The PMC handles all auxiliary functions. The color LCD displays program, position, alarms, diagnostics, and conversational screens.
