Working Principle:

The relay samples analog current and voltage signals at 4 kHz. The internal 32-bit DSP computes RMS valuesphasors, and impedance. Protection elements compare measured values against user-set thresholds. When a fault is detected, the relay issues a GOOSE trip message over the station LAN to the circuit breaker with <4 ms transmission time. The binary outputs provide hardwired trip backup for critical applications.
