Working Principle:
The N-2AX+DIO connects to the I/A Series controller via the carrier backplane. Ethernet data is processed by an onboard processor and mapped to I/A Series registers. Digital inputs are scanned at 10 ms intervals and digital outputs are updated at the same rate. Ethernet communication operates independently via the dual RJ-45 ports.
